Beer With Characters
New England IPA
Melon Gose
Dark Ale

Tim makes a fine midshipman. He’ll get you back to port with steady seas and sails full of laughter. A pale, funny and full-bodied fella, Tim is a top mate and true Tempe original. We’ve always got time for Tim.

The youngest member of our crew, Louie is the first wee lad born into the WtB family. He’s a bold bairn with a big horizon. His old man, our Brewer Simon, brewed this beer in his honor. Welcome aboard, Lil Louie.

Crazy Ivan is a true-blue bucket of laughs. A smart man, but never one for being organised. And if you find yourself in close quarters with Crazy Ivan, you’d better batten down the hatches, because you’ll be in for one hell of a night.

Here’s to Marrickville — a suburb close to our hearts. Rich in cultures and characters, it’s a tasty place for those thirsting after wild and spicy adventures. So get out there.

Raise a glass to our brewer Joel, who scoured the globe in search of ingredients for this true treasure – a brew that will even sweep old sea dogs off their paws.

OLD SALTY Melon Gose

Old Salty is our tribute to those old and wise friends that we all know and love – those well-seasoned characters that sit amongst us, with fascinating stories to tell, and buckets full of wisdom.

He’s the last of a rare breed of pollie and an all-round good bloke. Anthony Albanese MP has earnt his sea legs — and a hardworking beer named just for him. Cheers, Albo.

Even sea-hardened sailors get rattled when this dark and full-bodied character steps on board. However, don’t fear, for beneath that fierce exterior beats a heart of true blue gold.

Drop anchor for a few with us.

Nestled in the bosom of St Peters of Sydney, Willie’s brewery is where terrible jokes and unbeatable beers take shape. Bring your crew down for a couple, explore the brewery and meet the team behind the best beer in town. And get excited, because we’ve got a bigger ’n’ better brewery on the horizon — two doors down.

Making beer differently BEERcause we can.

When you were a lot younger than you are now, two fat dads from Tempe changed the world (probably). Somehow blessed with an extraordinary talent for creating beers that make jaws drop, Pat McInerney and Nick Newey launched Willie the Boatman in 2012.

Built with unhinged imagination, local mates, fierce independence and the finest ingredients, Willie is a brewery for true local characters. Inspired by the legend of a convict boatman, Pat and Nick proudly serve the community bloody great beers, wild yarns, and terrible love advice. Pop down and get some for yourself.
